shannon albert, psyd

Dr. Shannon Albert is the founder and director of Swedish’s first psychology fellowship program. She joined Swedish in 2015 at the inception of integrated behavioral health services in primary care and has been involved in supervision and training program development from the onset. She serves as a fellow supervisor and oversees all aspects of the fellowship programming. Training compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive clinicians sits at the nexus of her other passion - making behavioral health services truly accessible at the right time, in the right place, and for the right reasons. For her, expansion of the Primary Care Behavioral Health model across the Swedish ambulatory behavioral health clinics is not only the right thing to do, it is also fun and rewarding. Core values brought to her supervisory approach are connection, humility, and fostering a wellbeing-first mindset. She deeply values the relationships with her exemplary behavioral health team and visionary leaders and hopes to foster the next generation of clinicians poised to join the Providence Swedish family.

courtney lavadia, phd

Dr. Courtney Lavadia is a Behavioral Health Provider and Licensed Psychologist. She started at Swedish as a postdoctoral fellow in 2020 before accepting a full-time position as a licensed provider in 2021. Areas of specialty include pediatric behavior management and parent training, behavioral sleep medicine (lifespan), polyvagal work, and evaluation and treatment of ADHD and executive dysfunction in primary care. She also has interest in teaching and clinical supervision, which led to her joining the training committee as a pediatric lead in 2022. Her love for Swedish and the PCBH model of care are one in the same; in this role, we're able to provide greater access to behavioral healthcare, and are a part of the new frontline for whole-person care. The way that we can encourage meaningful change, even within just a single visit, is nothing short of extraordinary.

In her personal time, she loves all things crafty (e.g., crochet, sewing/quilting, baking, linocut print, painting), but especially spending quality time with her family and friends, which usually includes one or all of the following: walks/hikes, traveling, video games, board games, camping, etc.

McKenna Cosottile, PhD

Dr. McKenna Cosottile is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist by training and has been the Swedish West Seattle Pediatrics Behavioral Health Provider since 2021. She strongly values education, and actually started her career as a faculty member at a small liberal arts school. She regularly supervises behavioral health trainees and is thrilled to bring her pediatric expertise to the postdoctoral training committee. McKenna truly believes PCBH is one of the best ways care can be provided to patients, thinks the work is SO FUN, and loves the high energy and surprises that can come with every day!

McKenna loves spending time with her family & friends, hiking, photography, and baking. For self-care, she unwinds with TV, getting outside, or doing something creative.

Julia Terman, phd

Julia Terman has been a Behavioral Health Provider at Providence Medical Group since 2018 and at Swedish since 2022. She has supervised all levels of learners and is enjoying getting to supervise a fellow this year at Swedish. Dr. Terman’s passion for behavioral health comes from the opportunity to truly meet patients in different stages of life and help their medical team foster a holistic care approach for all, especially the most vulnerable and undeserved populations.

Julia loves cuddling with her Goldendoodle, watching bad TV, and spending time with her friends.

Jennifer O’Donnell, psyd

Dr. Jenni O’Donnell, PsyD is the Senior Medical Director for Behavioral Health Integration. She supports the growth and sustainability of the Behavioral Health program in the ambulatory settings at Swedish, focused on ensuring no wrong door access and ensuring behavioral health support is a routine part of our care at Swedish. Jenni functions as a back up supervisor, as well as supports the transition from post-doctoral fellows to licensed BHPs on the Swedish team. She has been with Swedish since 2015 and is so grateful for the people and teams we get to work with every day. Behavioral Health IS health and integration into the Primary Care space allows us to meet people where they are at and provide the support right when it is needed.

Jenni loves to travel and share new experiences with her kids. In terms of self-care, she loves to disconnect with a good spa day, but more regularly she loves to craft/bake and make things to give away to others.
